RenaissanceRe 2025 Sustainability Report A Message From Our CEO About This Report Sustainability Strategy Our Portfolio Our Partnerships Our People Our Operations Our Communities Our Governance Metrics and Performance Looking Ahead Appendix 36 Green Buildings and Real Estate Footprint RenaissanceRe operates from leased offices across its global network and does not own significant real estate assets. Our approach to environmental performance in our physical footprint includes aspirations towards: • prioritizing buildings with strong environmental credentials, such as LEED, BREEAM or equivalent certifications; • engaging landlords on energy and water performance, waste management and renewable electricity availability; • right-sizing office footprint as working patterns evolve; and • applying consistent environmental standards across office locations, adapted to local context and building type. SPOTLIGHT London Office Refurbishment Our London office refurbishment in 2025 incorporated a number of sustainability-focused practices. Existing desks were reused during the fit-out, and new furniture was selected with a focus on recyclability and local sourcing. We also partnered with The Glasshouse, a local social enterprise supporting women in UK prisons through horticultural training, to provide office planting. In addition, all the lighting was upgraded to LEDs to improve energy efficiency. Eri Tsukuda AVP, Head of Facilities & Administration — Europe We are proud that our recent office refurbishment reflects our commitment to sustainability, incorporating energy-efficient systems, responsible materials and improved waste management to reduce our environmental impact.”
